• For general error codes:
  • 20104: You did not follow step 1 above or connected to a different unoffical WFC server in the past. (Re)follow step 1.

• For errors uploading Pokemon:
  • 'This Pokemon can not be traded! (Gen V only: a set of numbers follow)': This error indicates the Pokemon you are trying to send was rejected for some reason. Unfortunetely only Gen V provies ID numbers for what caused it, so for Gen IV you will have to make a guess as to which of the below is the cause:

  13261	The server is either crowded or the server is under maintenance. Please try again later. (Does not actually say the message above, but falls in the same line of responses)
  13262	Unused. Report as a bug if seen.
  13266	If you're using the Analysis, Level Down, or Account channels, this is actually a success response. In other channels report this as a bug.
  13267	Too many requests at once.
  13268	Your profile could be set, but we're likely out of space to fit your Pokemon onto the WonderCorner.
  13269	Profiling Error. Report as a bug if this repeats.
  13270	Pokemon contains illegal values for the specified subdomain.
  13271	Unused. Report as a bug if seen.
  13275	Appears when connection issues occur while connected to the server. If this occurs when trying to send a Pokemon, please report as a bug.

  
  
  
• For errors receiving Pokemon:
  • [Pokemon's nickname] was not traded: An unknown server error occured that reset your profile back into deposit mode. Your Pokemon should be returned to you (thankfully, the game keeps backups) but you will need to redeposit it.
  • The summary screen of the Pokemon you deposited appears: Something has gone wrong server side, to where there is either no Pokemon avaliable to send to you, the Pokemon that was going to be sent was deemed invalid/illegit and was rejected for safety, or a critical error occured in writing the receipt.


• Website/Global Criticality errors:
  • Error 77! If seen in the queue, do not use the server until it is removed! It indicates an invalid or illegit Pokemon found its way onto the server by bypassing the above checks somehow. This should not occur, but if it does please report the error immediately. Note this only applies if it occurs in the Queue. If it is present in the Receipts, simply proceed with caution.

My Pokemon is valid, but I can't select it for upload!

Eggs, as well as Pokemon holding a classic ribbon, cannot be uploaded to the normal GTS, and therefore the same applies for the WonderCorner. This is a part of the games's coding itself, and as such cannot be worked around. Pokemon holding classic ribbons typically come from events (including Mystery Gift), and as such are the most common ones barred by this.

What are channels?

Channels are used to alter the way the games interact with the server, by using the 'Level' request section of depositing a Pokemon as a substitute to represent each channel. Hover over the channel tabs above to see what each channel corresponds to. A description for each channel is at the bottom of each channel's page.

What are subdomains/Are the Pokemon legit?

The legitmacy of Pokemon accepted into WonderCorner is based on gender requested by the user when sending a Pokemon, effectively using the value to represent a subdomain:

Any: Vanilla
♂: Chocolate
♀: Currently unused, redirects to Vanilla.

For the Vanilla subdomain, the server uses a strict legality check for every Pokemon submitted, to ensure that every Pokemon can be traded to Pokemon Bank. As such, Pokemon created by Action Replay or other cheating devices are unlikely to work. Special exceptions to the Pokemon Bank rule *may* come in the future with certain events (e.g. Azure Flute Arceus and Diamond/Pearl Darkrai/Shaymin, as well as legit Arceus/Darkrai with the Time/Space Trio's signature moves). At the moment, a small number of other event Pokemon may also be rejected.

For the Chocolate subdomain, a more rudimentary check is instead used, checking simply that the Pokemon's attributes fall within safe values. This allows Pokemon with moves/abilities outside the normal legality rules of Bank to be traded. This feature is still experimental however, so it's recommended to only use this subdomain if you have means to back up your save file prior.

Please note that, while we have made multiple steps to ensure unsafe values cannot be traded, we cannot be held liable if unsafe Pokemon data is received. If you somehow receive a Pokemon you believe to be unsafe (e.g. crashes the Summary screen, Bad Egg, crashes on the Box screen), you can report such to us to prevent it in the future. Currently, we store a copy of any Pokemon sent off in a temporary storage folder, so if we are contacted fast enough with some basic information about the Pokemon (E.g. species, moves, nickname, illegit properties, time of trade), we may be able to obtain the Pokemon ourselves for analysis.

We're open to feedback, however keep in mind that we are limited by the constraints of what the DS games send and respond with for both the GTS and other systems, and we do not plan to alter them to add new features. As such, expect ideas to be rejected if they doesn't follow those constraints.

Additionally, certain features such as Dream World will be immediately rejected, since, for that service in particular, the resources have either been lost to time, or no one has appeared with the proper cache data for it (if you believe you have a PC that has not been online since the initial Dream World shutdown back in 2013-2014 and that connected to the Dream World in that time, it may be wise to contact shutterbug2000#8835 on discord, as he has the most complete research on the matter).
